I wrote "Pipe Smoke" for my Dad years ago in college. I was inspired by nights spent bonding with him as he smoked his pipe or cigars. Always one of his favorite songs, and a common request at my concerts, "Pipe Smoke" had to be recorded just right.

In April 2021, I recorded the song with my favorite lineup: Daniel Kelly II on drums and Ben Rikhoff of bass. For anyone who has seen us live, you know how talented they are! Hamilton Baptist church was kind enough to let us use their piano and Worship Hall to record. Mix that with Aaron Campbell's recording skills and I think we made an awesome track!
